What We Like
What We Don't Like
The Babybjorn Baby Carrier One is one of the easiest, if not the easiest carrier to get baby in and out of. So, if you tend to have trouble getting baby in and out by yourself, the One is definitely worth a look.
But perhaps most importantly, is that the Babybjorn One is ergonomically designed and designed to put baby's hips in a safe position. The One is acknowledged as being hip healthy by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute.
On top of that, the One is really comfortable, applies good weight distribution between your hips and shoulders and has 4 different carry positions to suit your's and your baby's preferences.
Babybjorn Baby Carrier One REVIEW
The Babybjorn Baby Carrier One is one of the most expensive that money can buy - but it's also one of the best and for some they will consider it the best.
So if you have the budget, this might just be that perfect carrier you've been looking for.
The Carrier One can accommodate babies from 8lbs to 33lbs, which is roughly 1 month to 36 months, depending on the size of your baby.
It's also highly adjustable to suit a wide range of wearer sizes (though some more petite moms have said they felt it was too big for them.
All of that plus the following carry positions:
- Front facing-in for newborn
- Front facing-in for older babies
- Front facing-out
- Back carry
makes this a very versatile carrier.
The only thing to make it more versatile would be a hip carry position.
This carrier is super comfy and offers great weight distribution. That, in addition to nicely padded shoulder straps and a nice thick hip belt, make this comfy to wear with babies and small toddlers.
Easy and Convenient
This is the easiest carrier out there to put on, in my opinion. This, and the others in the Babybjorn line.
Being so easy to get baby in and out of, makes it easier to get baby out when they're sleeping - and keep them asleep in the process. Which is always nice, of course!
If you're someone who has had trouble with getting baby in and out of their carrier by themselves, you should give this One (pun intended!) a try.
The Carrier One is acknowledged as being hip healthy by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute. So, you know your baby is in a good position for their developing hips (assuming you use the carrier correctly).
Who is this product for?
The Babybjorn Baby Carrier One is ideal for anyone looking for a carrier that has multiple carry positions, is comfortable, highly adjustable and super easy to get baby in and out of.
Basically someone who is looking for the ultimate carrier that has all bases covered. With one caveat - that they have a good budget. It's one of the more expensive carriers, but if money is no concern, then this is definitely worth a try.
Particularly good for anyone who have struggled to get baby in and out of other carriers by themselves.

So that's the Babybjorn Baby Carrier One.
A great carrier for those that want something easy to get baby in and out of, but still have all of the versatility, adjustability and comfort of other top of the line carriers.
Perhaps the only things this carrier is missing are:
- A sun hood
- A pocket
- Hip carry position
But a pocket is something that you could get separately to attach to it.
So, if you don't mind not having a hip carry position and don't mind paying for it, then this could be the ultimate carrier for you.
